The SBC First Pitch competition, a highlight of the SBC Summit this September, has revealed the five finalist companies vying for the coveted prize package.
Sponsored by Soft2Bet as the headline sponsor and White Swan Data as the premium sponsor, the competition will take place on Tuesday, September 24.
Part of the Global Leadership track within the broader SBC Summit, the event will be hosted at the Feira Internacional de Lisboa. The five finalists are:
- XGENIA: Specializes in modular and versatile AI solutions for online casinos, offering advanced risk management through an innovative and reliable API.
- Match Hype: Transforms raw data into engaging sports videos and betting tips in 30 languages.
- StatX Sports: Provides cutting-edge sports data to leagues, teams, media companies, and betting operators, enhancing their business operations.
- Random State: Innovates in iLottery and bingo games with exciting, hypercasual game titles.
- SavageTech: A B2B SaaS company offering the world’s first gamified retention engine for gambling, featuring avatars, battle monsters, and more to enhance player engagement.
The selection process will be rigorous, with companies required to showcase their products and demonstrate their potential impact to a panel of expert judges. The panel includes:

- Javier Altamirano (Head of Startups, Sportradar)
- Mark Blandford (Partner, Burlywood Capital)
- Martin Collins (Chief Business Development Officer, Soft2Bet)
- Paris Smith (Founder, Life Winning)
- Jesse Learmonth (Host, Betting Startups podcast)
Sue Schneider, SBC VP of Growth & Strategy for the Americas, expressed her enthusiasm for the finalists and the judging panel, stating:

The winning startup will receive €118,000 worth of support, including mentorship, media partnerships, service hosting, analysis, and free subscriptions to valuable industry resources.
